Young people are learning about IP protection and technology transfer

The online training course "Technology transfer and IP protection" started on October 1, 2020.

This 60-hour course offers a unique opportunity for young researchers, students, masters and doctoral students to gain knowledge in fields such as:.

  • Protection of intellectual property
  • Trademarks and copyright
  • Inventions
  • Technology transfer
  • Innovation management
  • Open science
  • Research data management
  • Open access and scholarly communication


The lectures are presented by experts from the Institute of Market Economy, the State Agency for Intellectual Property and the the Information Society Development Institute.

The number of applications to the course was impressive, 65 applicants were selcted: students, master students, doctoral students, young specialists.

The best students will have the opportunity to do internships in one of the partner organizations of the NanoMedTwin project: the Royal Institute of Technology (Sweden), the University of Bristol (UK), Hannover Medical School (Germany) or the Joint Research Center of the European Commission (Italy).

The first module of the course "Protection of intellectual property" was presented on October 1, by Mr. Andrei Moisei, main consultant, Communication and Training Section of AGEPI. The course is delivered ONLINE, on Thursdays (18.00 - 20.00) and Saturdays (9.00 - 12.00).
