Online training workshop “Horizon Europe and H2020 projects – financial issues”: November 22-24, 2021

International R&I projects funded via EU programs, such as Horizon Europe and H2020 are governed by complex financial rules. How to do the initial project budgeting, what costs are eligible, how to correctly calculate personnel costs and how to prepare a project's financial report, avoiding typical errors?

Clear and detailed answers to these questions, as well as other useful information, tips and recommendations on financial management of Horizon Europe and H2020 projects will be provided during the online training workshop organized by the H2020 project "NanoMedTwin", on 22- November 24, 2021, during 9:00 - 12:30 p.m.

The training workshop will focus on the most important financial aspects of the Horizon Europe and H2020 projects, including:
- funding schemes
- eligibility criteria
- initial budgeting
- eligible costs
- subcontracting
- calculation of personnel costs
- accounting and cost recording
- exchange rates
- periodic and final financial reporting
- EU audit

The event is aimed at research organizations, higher education institutions and private companies. Language of the workshop - English.

The training workshop is organized in the framework of the H2020 project “NanoMedTwin - Promoting smart specialization at the Technical University of Moldova by developing the field of novel nanomaterials for biomedical applications through excellence in research and twinning”. The workshop will be delivered by one of the project partners - EFPC, a consulting company with extensive experience in the development and management of research projects under EU framework programs.
