Summer School "Innovations in nanomedicine"

22.06.2022

What is the role of fundamental science in the sustainable development of the society? What is Nanotechnology? What kind of sensors can be developed based on nanomaterials? Where does nanobiomedicine come from? What is tissue engineering? What does intellectual property protection mean in the field of applied sciences? What is the technology transfer?

To find out the answer to these questions, we invite you to the Summer School "Innovations in Nanomedicine", to be held on July 3-6, 2022. The event is aimed at PhD students, students and high school pupils, passionate about science and technology. The lectures will be given in Romanian and English.

Application deadline has been extended to 27 June 2022!

The lectures will be presented by professors and researchers from abroad, including Hannover Medical School (Germany), Bristol University (UK), Joint Research Center (Italy), Royal Institute of Technology (Sweden), Nagoya University (Japan), as well as representative institutions from the country, such as the Technical University of Moldova, the State Agency for Intellectual Property, the State University of Medicine and Pharmacy "Nicolae Testemiteanu" and others.

Preliminary agenda includes subjects like:

  • Nanotechnology and new materials
  • Fabrication and characterisation methods of nanomaterials
  • Nanomedicine and biosensors
  • Tissue engineering and artificial organs
  • Intellectual property in R&D activities
  • Technology transfer and best practices of innovation in companies
  • Visits to research centers
