NanoMedTwin - the first round of H2020 training workshops

European project NanoMedTwin has started its first round of training workshops on H2020 proposal preparation and project implementation on April 11, 2019. The three-day workshop has gathered over 30 researchers from the Technical University of Moldova. The training is delivered by EFPC, who are experts in Framework Program rules and regulations and have conducted numerous workshops in FP topics in all European countries and also in other countries outside Europe.

The workshop has been opened by NanoMedTwin project manager, academician Ion Tiginyanu, who has been recently elected president of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova. He encouraged the participants to participate in H2020 calls, increasing Moldova’s research excellence and fostering cooperation. The vice-rector for research of the Technical University of Moldova, dr.hab. Mircea Bernic also greeted the participants, wishing them a productive and useful training.   

The event aims to equip Moldovan researchers with a more efficient and practical understanding of FP rules and regulations and to increase success in submitting H2020 (and future FP9) proposals. It will focus on such aspects as the proposal writing, evaluation process, proposal review, budgeting, best practices.

Republic of Moldova has been the first Eastern Partnership country to become associated to the EU Framework Programmes since 2012.
